Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-31

LifeCalc AI is designed as a privacy-conscious educational decision-support website. This policy explains what information may be processed when someone uses the site.

Calculator inputs

Most calculator inputs are processed in the browser. They are used to show estimates, pressure scores, break-even notes, and solution paths. Calculator results are educational estimates and not professional advice.

Decision Journal

The Decision Journal stores notes in the user's browser local storage by default. Local storage remains on the device/browser unless the user clears it. LifeCalc AI does not require an account for the journal.

Contact form

The contact page uses Netlify Forms. If a user submits the form, the submitted name, email, topic, and message may be processed by Netlify and made available to the site owner for response and support.

AI analysis

If live AI analysis is enabled, form inputs required for the analysis may be sent to a server-side Netlify Function and then to an AI provider. The API key is stored server-side and is not exposed in browser JavaScript. Users should not submit sensitive documents, passwords, Social Security numbers, medical records, legal documents, or full account numbers.

Cookies, local storage, ads, and analytics

LifeCalc AI may use local storage for preferences such as cookie notice dismissal. If advertising or analytics are enabled later, third-party services may use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons, or similar technologies to measure traffic or serve ads. Users can control cookies through their browser settings.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
