Trust and methodology

Editorial Standards

LifeCalc AI is designed as an educational decision-support website. Our goal is to help users understand pressure, trade-offs, risks, and next steps. We do not present calculator output as guaranteed truth, professional advice, or a promise of financial, career, parenting, legal, medical, or life success.

How content is created

Content is written around practical decision frameworks: survival, upside, stress, reversibility, evidence, responsibility, regret risk, and action planning. Pages are designed to be useful before a user enters numbers and useful after a result appears.

How calculators are framed

Calculator results are estimates based on user inputs. They are not predictions. The same result can mean different things for different people depending on local costs, family responsibilities, insurance, health, job stability, and professional guidance.

AI use

AI may be used as a research, drafting, or analysis aid. AI output is reviewed for clarity, safety, and unsupported claims. When live AI analysis is enabled, the API key is stored server-side through Netlify environment variables and not exposed inside browser JavaScript.

Corrections

Users can report errors, outdated information, or confusing wording through the contact page. We may update pages when a clearer explanation, stronger disclaimer, or better user experience is needed.

Limits

LifeCalc AI does not provide individualized financial planning, legal advice, medical advice, mental health advice, tax advice, parenting therapy, credit repair, lending approval, or employment guarantees. For high-stakes situations, users should consult qualified professionals.
